A sidepath: What the Real Matrix is

Well, this is a step aside, but I think it’s an important one.

When I saw the movie ‘The Matrix’ I thought it was great, of course, but I didn’t get halfway of it understanding it. Only when I read what’s written about it in the Wikipedia*, I got to understand it rather well. But it wasn’t close to what I had in mind about the simulation we live in, a simulation we created. (*Please donate the buggers, because they need it much.)

The Matrix shown in the movie was, in my eyes, more the way demons really exploit people by hypnotising them to drink alcoholic drinks and use drugs and (then) make them addicted and then obey them. But apparently the producers didn’t know that. Anyway.

What the Real Matrix is

Well, I kept this title of this subchapter, because I liked it that much. But it belongs to a previous version of the booklet. The Real Matrix is the pitfall, caused by the mind and The Law of Attraction, Gravity: Thinking that what we create with our mind is new, while it’s old. What we ‘create’ with our mind is based on what we (already) know, knowledge, which is from the past, and the past is over, it’s old, it’s gone, it’s dead. So what we ‘create’ with our mind is old, it’s old rubbish, it’s death. It’s just a re-creation of old stuff. Basically we are dying going along that path. Basically we are dead already going along that path.

I’m sorry to say this, but I think it’s true. We are living with our backs turned to the light – Plato. The Real Matrix, not the one in the movie, but the pitfall I described, is in fact a prison for us, a prison caused by our rumbling in our own mind, a prison of old rubbish. A prison we create(d) ourselves. And which we create over and over and over. That’s why it’s called ‘The circle of birth and death’ in India (in the old days). Because using your mind, rumble in it, creating old rubbish, causes (spiritual) death. Because old rubbish is dead. And after we have died, physically, we start all over in a next incarnation. Again, that’s why it’s called ‘The circle of birth and death’. (I repeated this probably ad nauseam, but just to get through to you.) And doing this, creating old rubbish, leads you away from real life, which is just Here.

In between: But death and death are two. To avoid the risk that you are getting too depressed from all this talk about death, I want to say that I don’t mean death allover. I want to take away this way of ‘living’, what we do, (which is spiritual death in my opinion), so real life is remaining. And real live is living life. Life which is alive. Life Here. Which can be lived by being spontaneous, by following your intuition, by following your inner impulses, your inner impulses which happen Here, in the Now and so on.

But why do we do this, this using our mind like this, the old rubbish way. Well, I think we do that to get control of (real) life for the most part. Because we are afraid of real life, which is (the) living life. From living life you never know in which direction it is going. That’s why we create a simulation of life, a Matrix, some kind of life we can control, instead of real life. We create static life, because we can control that better. But static life is dead. Like the salt pillar Lot’s wife turned into.* (But meanwhile the part we can’t control, Real Life, is going on…**)

* See in the stories of the oldies. A salt pillar is static, it symbolizes death. Although nowadays we know there is life in salt (pillars).

** Like John Lennon sang: “Life is going on, while we are making other plans.” (Or something like that.) He sang it for his sunny.

The path of intuition, living spontaneous, listening to your inner impulses, is really being alive. It’s the path of real life. And don’t be afraid, your intuition will keep you from dangers the best way. Because you feel the near future. Ask dogs and cats in case of earthquakes and so on. (We can learn from dogs, cats… and other animals.)

So the Real Matrix, the simulacrum of the mind, the pitfall of the mind, is caused by the The Law of Attraction, Gravity. Which works when we are not aware of it – it always works – or when we are aware of it, when it’s used ‘consciously’ by us. But then, using it ‘consciously’, we attract the known, of which we are not aware of, not conscious, although we think we are (conscious) thinking we create something new, which we don’t. We re-create known, old things by all this ‘conscious’ doing. Other terms are Magic, Praying, visualization and other techniques based on the same mechanism, maybe with other names. Whatever, it brings you old rubbish.

So far, this was theory, but there is a practical side of it too. A practical way to stimulate your intuition, a practical way to stimulate real life. See the chapter wherin I talk about affirmations. It’s at the end of The Complete Theory.
